Yesterday, just before the early darkness, decided to go to Long Beach Airport (close-by) & photograph some planes/clouds. Well, there were no planes as luck would have it, but …off in the distance, & where the beautiful clouds happened to be, were passenger jets, one after another, on final approach into LAX. OK, then.

B. Gerald Cantor, a mischievous old rich guy whom I photographed a few times at his scrumptious Century City offices for various publications, which was chock-a with a market he had cornered: Auguste Rodin’s amazing - and huge - sculptures. This particular pose was in front of The Three Shades (1886). He had already passed, lucky for him, when the little Egyptian wanker Atta aimed his stolen jet at the 1st World Trade Center tower 22 years ago, the many floors of that direct hit being his brokerage firm.
